Steve is an artist working in Cornwall, England. He studied Illustration at Southampton Arts
Institute, where he developed a passion for figurative painting, inspired by artists such as Walter
Sickert, Edgar Degas and Euan Uglow.

After graduating, Steve found success as a commercial artist, painting art for publishers and interior design projects.

In recent years he has increasingly focused on creating work from his own inspirations, exploring a
diverse range of subjects, from the human form to wildlife, nature and cityscapes.

He has an affinity for muted, subtle tones. His subjects are often shrouded in a delicate light, in
settings where the real and abstract merge, giving his work an ethereal and dreamlike quality.
